Bike Club - Forbes St Nunnery Bike Workshop

Mondays from 3pm the Nunnery - 40 Forbes St Newtown (off Wilson St)

Community Bicycle Workshop & other Free Things

Hello environmentally and community positive people, I'm sure you all have healthy affections for bicycles, but you may not know about the Forbes St Nunnery Bike Workshop! This is a volunteer run, free bike workshop where you can bring your bike and fix it with the tools and help provided. You can also find spare parts for your bikes, you can even find complete bikes to fix up and ride away on. You can leave us spare parts or complete bikes that you don't need anymore and we will turn them into bikes for others. As it's all volunteer run, we would really appreciate help from people to be there and keep it open (there's a roster), especially bike - handy people. We also appreciate any source of oil, grease, WD40, metho, puncture repair kits and spare change for such expenses, and of course, spare bikes.
