Thanks to a generous donation, the Marrickville South Sydney Bike Group is offering local cyclists a chance to light up this winter. For a donation of $10, cyclists can get a set of good quality lights. This is a fraction of the retail value.
When cyclists move from daylight saving to winter, MASSBUG gets lots of complaints about cyclists not using headlights. The message comes from drivers as well as other cyclists.
This offer is aimed at inner city students, young people and others on low incomes who rely on their bike for cheap transport. Lights are essential even if it's a short trip home.
There are only 50 sets of lights available. First in first served.
