MASSBUG HERITAGE RIDE

EST 20 km return.

Start: 10:00am Petersham Railway Station.

Easy, slow pace, frequent stopping, about 90 minutes ride time.

Heritage Week ride with local historian. Frequent stops to hear stories of past celebrities. Finishing with a cold drink at historical pub or club.

SUNDAY 11TH MARCH 2007

ST PETERS AND TEMPE HERITAGE RIDE (Seniors Ride)

15 km round trip about 90 minutes ride time.

Start: 10:00 am St Peters Railway Station (south side) Off-street parking opposite. Call to arrange assistance with bikes at the station.

Slow, easy, some on-road (council cycle paths) some off road cycle paths. Frequent stops at historical and interesting sites between St Peters and Tempe and return. Free entry to Bus and Truck Museum. Light refreshments provided. Call to confirm and book a place.

CHOCOLATES AND FINE FOOD RIDE

EST 15 km return.

Start: 8.45 for 9 am Stanmore station, Railway St, Coffee Shop.

Visit specialty bakers, ice cream and sweet makers, Portuguese delis and cafes. Check out the itinerary from previous ride to whet your appetite. Please note this years meeting point is different to previous years.

'Begin at Newtown Hub travel via various public libraries and mechanics institutes and repositories of untold wisdom on the way to Walsh Bay. A precursor to Sydney Writers Festival (May 28 June 2). Blue hosiery, stack of books and step-through/old-school bike optional.

Meet at Newtown Neighbourhood Centre visit places of significance to deaf culture, Greenpeace exhibition at Carriageworks, Dobell Drawing Prize (AGNSW) and Auslan interpreted tour of French Connection at the Art Gallery of NSW.

Coffee stop at the Depot in Waterloo and return to Newtown.
