Salt Pan Creek Ride
EMTPW 20km to Salt Pan Creek, return via rail (station TBC).
King Street to St Peters, "L13" cycle path to Tempe, on road to Bexley North, M5 Linear Park to Riverwood.
Start: 7:45am for 8:00 am. Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, King St, opposite Railway Station.

Turnout was good 10 riders of all proficiencies. The boardwalks through the mangrove equals that of Homebush Bay. The Chippo/Gang festival was a great time. Lots of cycles in attendence all locked to Pine St Ball Court fence. There was even a rickshaw giving rides. Keep this festival in mind for next year.

Turnout low on numbers high on enjoyment factor. Recommended to take a blanket and nibbles, there is a bar. Lots of other folk make their way by cycle. Note - you can take the bike into the compound and lock it to the fence on the inside.

Visit specialty bakers, ice cream and sweet makers, Portuguese delis and cafes. Check out the itinerary to whet your appetite.
Start: 8.45 for 9 am Petersham station, Regent and Trafalgar Sts.
With near on fourty riders of all ages this was a massive turnout. Well done everyone.

SATURDAY 18TH MARCH 2006 (NEW RIDE)
Cycle path maintenance (glass patrol)/ social ride.
Mission: to collect obviously troublesome broken/ shattered glass from the Cooks River cycle path.
Where: meet at Adora coffee shop 10 Homer Street at 8.30 (for first breakfastses) and 9 am departure.
Duration: As far as you can make it to the Rookwood Cemetary circuit. Distance covered if doing the whole 'Hobbit' trip (To the limits of the Shire and back): Approx 35 kilometres ( 2.30 - 3 hours).
Bring gloves, dust pan and broom, etc.

Discover your heritage tour
ET 12 km, 2 hours each ride.
Local historian visits and tells stories of how people worked and played, as we ride.
Ride 1: Newtown to Petersham and returnStart: 10 am Newtown Neighbourhood. King St, opposite Railway Station.
Ride 2: Marrickville to Newtown returnStart (and finish): 2pm Marrickville Park, near lawn tennis courts, Livingstone and Frazer Sts.
25 riders began the morning session, 15 riders the afternoon. A fantastic event, thanks to all concerned.

Tour through the inner west to Hunters Hill through the eyes of artists of Marrickville. Spectacular views.
Start: 10am, Tempe station car park, finishes Meadowbank rail station, walk direct onto carriage.
A great turnout for a long ride fifteen in all set out from Tempe and we managed to sneak into the art gallery of new south wales with minutes to spare.
