CUB UPDATE
Anyone who lives in or near, or works in the CBD, or has an interest in good building design, environment and traffic should be concerned about the redevelopment of the old Carlton and United Brewery site in Chippendale (CUB). Michael Mobbs as featured in this ride has done an assessment based upon his own experiences of the approved concept plan. Two page info sheet Mobbs.pdf.
Self-Guided Rides for information sheets for this and other rides around the inner west and inner south of Sydney.

5 MINUTE PUNCTURE REPAIR ON THE FLI
THE BIKE SAINT gives a demonstration on how to do a puncture repair without removing the tube from the wheel. Great if you are part of a bike bus or organised ride and want to rejoin the ride promptly.
Go to whoa in real time at just over five minutes.
A basic puncture repair kit should contain: glue (keep a spare unopened tube just in case); patches of various sizes, these can be bought in strips from your local bike store; chalk, engineers or blackboard chalk (also useful for leaving notes on the pavement); sandpaper or emery paper or metal grater; plastic tyre levers, usually sold in sets of three; a pump.
5 DOC SKATE PARK
Oke for anyone who don't know the Dulwich Hill Skate Park - accessible by rail at Dulwich Hill Station - is on the southern end of the GreenWay. At the mid point is Summer Hill a mildly amusing couple of walls by anyone's assessment... at a small ride or skate from the northern limit of the GreenWay, along the Bay Run and then a few streets across is the Five Dock Bowl at Five Dock Park - just behind the doh-ray-me college for those of us of a certain vintage. Over to you...
